I should just summarize today. Letsee... I got up, then decided that it'd make me happier to sleep through Civ. So I did, and I was in a generally good mood today. I even went to the dining hall, and
jabberwockeyes followed me around campus so I felt a little less weird taking pictures of things. Night pictures are still... a little beyond me. But there are two I'm proud of.
( These two )
Then I got back to the dorm. People came in and talked randomly, spurring a later conversation with my roomie that just made me more frustrated in general about the whole Male People situation on this campus. I probably threatened again to drop out, which brought the whole general lack-of-a-declared-major, I don't know what I'm doing thing to the forefront... again. And I'll spare you the gorey details, but I'm feeling less and less like I can pull off majoring in HiPSS, for various reasons, but I still for whatever reason can't bring myself to declare as an English major, because I want a degree with a fancy title. Despite the fact that, hey, what I want to do is be an editor and write. So whatever the heck I'd be doing in something other than English is anyone's guess. Nevermind that I'm having more fun in my English class right now, too. I think I'm just generally illogical, and I'm just going to have to learn to deal with that. And either suck it up and turn in the paperwork for HIPS, or give in and declare English. Because my advisor might explode or something if I don't declare before the end of this quarter. Or at least be really frustrated with me.
So then I made some banana bread. And attempted to go to study break, but only succeeded in wandering a bit and making someone mad at me, which is fun! Actually, I think I might have been making bread before people came in and talked and set off the rest of the random for the night, because I remember checking the time on the microwave in an effort to convey that I had other things to be doing. Anyway, it doesn't matter that things are out of order. Suffice it to say that I was strung out enough tonight to be baking. Wee. I think it's just a sign that I need to freaking do something about this. It's always lurking in the back of my mind, and it's probably what's keeping me from sleeping. And I can't really apply for internships without a major. They not only want to know my major, they want to know my GPA in it. Ha ha ha.
I'm so screwed. But hey, there are interesting pictures behind the cut! So that's good!
