Today at work I wrote a haiku... it goes like this:

I really hate work
I will sell no more combos
Oh, hey! Look, shinies!

I was on break and very tired. I was also in the worst mood ever today. Between the cranky ladies that expected me to be Psychic Order Taker and Super Popcorn Retriever (Turbo Edition) and the new girls who don't always know what they're doing... sigh! They make sickly white popcorn... which is really their major offense. I don't know why no one new seems to understand that the yellow popcorn tastes better. Just because they're all young girls that are on diets or something. I'm tired of people coming back for extra butter (which, let's face it, is far, far more gross than a bit of extra coconut popping oil). Of course, this is normal... so I don't know why it was bothering me more than usual. I actually rolled my eyes at someone and walked away, thank goodness it was a co-worker, but I never do that. At least afterwards I mentally slapped myself and eventually stopped being a snob. (After, because I am insane, telling myself that the person annoying me was just like Archer and I was going to have to put up with it if I didn't want to get fired. Omg you're not supposed to take other people's busy work while they're doing it! It doesn't take two people to make nachos! You wait until it's three seconds between popcorn pops to dump the kettle, otherwise you get a giant pile of kernels. And you especially don't reach over someone's head to dump the popcorn while they're filling the next batch when it's not done popping! Omgwtf! Gah! grumblegrumblegrumlbleangst)

At least I've got most of the Christmas presents taken care of now! I only need one and a half more! (Never mind that it's two days after Christmas, we've already established that I'm a bad person!) My break's almost over, though... it makes me sad. I haven't done any of the music editing for CUSA yet... I should probably get on that like, tomorrow. Sigh.
