Ahh, work in an hour!

I think I've got another half-hour or so of internet time today... then I'm cut off again, like I was yesterday after about three. Ahhhh. At least I didn't have that much to catch up on on my flist this morning (you people disappoint me! Though the post-wank/wank-about-wank was getting boring, so I'm glad that's over). Having your laptop suddenly become the family computer is not fun.

I got a tip last night! For one hour, I made almost seven dollars! ($5.65 + $1 = woo! Hehehe) It actually came from this one old guy that I was a little wary of waiting on, because he seemed a little senile somewhat distracted by his family, and usually they're the type that yells at me. But he decided he liked my smile and gave me a tip. Yay! (It'd be better if "you have a really pretty smile" wasn't forever connected to the yaoi guy at ACen, who said it more sincerely than I've heard anyone say that. I'm still very amused by that. My smile is approved by old men and purveyors of yaoi!) For the most part, though, the night was uneventful. My register decided it wasn't going to love credit cards at all anymore, or really receipts in general, and printed nothing but gibberish. I had the guy sign the gibberish receipt, because I had no idea what else to do. Darn printer. Aand, one of the crazy managers was there tonight, and he's usually fun until he checks to make sure everything's clean, at which point he magically becomes better than everyone else and demands very condescendingly that completely random things get shined. Woohoo. So we sarcasically dealt with that, since everyone behind the concession also had to be back this morning. But at least we'll all be equally sleep-deprived and cranky. Well, I doubt either of them were up until two again with freaking plot bunnies, but it evens out. (Freaking plot bunnies! I'd kill them if they weren't making it so I can finish these blasted things! They only attack after midnight!)
