I'm starting to think I have a sinus infection or something. I'm much more inclined to chalk these headaches up to stress, but if tomorrow afternoon I'm sick again, I think I'm going to have to cave and go to SCC.

I am so proud of myself: it's only 9:30, and I've only got a tiny bit of reading left to do. I... accomplished a fair amount today in regards to my classes, too. I sat through my entire Sosc class (which meant that I missed the first meeting of the Tolkien class) before asking my professor if I could switch sections. However, she gave me permission to switch into the 10:30 section, and I wandered over to Harper at about 10:24 in random hope that the professors would still be around. They were... but so was half the class (complaining about the difficulty of the quiz to see if they'd read the books), so I decided not to venture in. I did, amazingly, force myself to e-mail the professor though, so I've got to meet with her after the morning Anthro class tomorrow (I'm giving it one more chance) and take the quiz. But... err, the point of this paragraph was that I stayed for the entire period of Sosc. And, in the end, that was a good thing. Because I learned that 1) we've now got over 20 people in the class and 2) we also now have that guy. I know this concept pops up at other universities... somehow my Sosc class lacked a really obnoxious one until this quarter. And now we've got one, and I'm glad I'm leaving. I don't like people who think they know every last thing about books we read back in September. It's the wrong kind of pretentious, and it makes me a sad dork.

I feel like my writing's particularly choppy and verbose right now... but I blame that on the fact that I've been reading Poe since about 7:15 when I got back from dinner. You'll have to forgive me. I mean, it was newspaper articles written by Poe, so there's not much you can do.

Oh, and dinner tonight was fun, despite the evil aching pain in the back of my head from this stupid headache. It was a lot like the random dinners of last year, being all about destroying the past (kicking old ladies and stealing the Declaration of Independence and whatnot) and whether or not it's incest if a hermaphrodite has sex with his/her/itself.

I also moved about fifteen more CDs onto my iPod. And I'm still not over 8 gigs. This makes me both happy and... ambivalent, if that's possible (which it isn't). I want more music, but I don't want to take up too much space. It's odd. I imagine I'll be happy at ten gigs, though. And the percentage of random late-90sishness is now way up, and that makes my shuffle function quite happy. Yay!

So, um, I suppose it all depends on tomorrow whether or not I'll be double-majoring. What yay! And... er... either way, I have got to find a fourth class, even though it's spring quarter and all pretty outside and... gah. Must do school work. (Isn't my work-ethic's internal monologue lovely to read?)

Oh! And before I forget... [livejournal.com profile] chocolatemoose (your hair is awesome!) I still have your boots! I was looking for a CD I lost and poof, there they were next to my computer. Shall I send them? Come to Canada and give them what? Eh? And [livejournal.com profile] sketchyheart, I demand DDR, Ben Kweller, and the Pillows (holy freaking Pillows, Batman!). And if I could get my playlist into something with proper formatting, that'd make me quite happy. But sadly... no, things refuse to cooperate. Grrr.
