Now it's my turn to yell spoiler!
Omg! Squee! I'm not entirely sure what I thought of the ending as a whole, but there were too many oddly squee-worthy moments for me not to be at least a little bit happy. I'm not sure what people were expecting from it, seeing as there really isn't much that could've happened immediately after that last episode. And, five years later is a holy-crap long time, considering everyone was 15-16 for the whole show. And Maximillien... so looks like this guy from my Sosc class now. It's positively scary. But, the real point of this post is to pass these on. This, more than anything, is one of those things that I will refer to as End-Of-Samurai-Champloo-Jin Syndrome. AKA, why doesn't the character always look like this?! (Actually, it'd have been obnoxious for Jin to look like that for the entire series, but still. More often, please?) And yes, I have a glasses fetish.
Ladies and Gentlemen... Mesdames et Messieurs (whose titles I have probably now spelt wrong)... glasses!Albert! Why weren't you in the anime more?! And, you know, I much preferred Franz over Albert before the glasses. Now... with the glasses, I think it's about tied. Neep! Darn your pretty character designs!
