Victory!

I believe I have finally talked my mom into getting me a cell phone! Yay! Of course, I've got to sign the contract myself and pay at least half the bills.. but that's not bad. I think I can afford it. Hopefully a lot of people will break their computers this year. Hehehe.

Well, we were supposed to go shopping today, but as usual my mom and sister were stubborn for their own reasons. My sister didn't want to get out of bed, my mom didn't want to go at all, and by the time they agreed to do something it was two and we would have only had about an hour and a half to shop. So, I guess it's been put off until Friday. Which sucks. I hate waiting around, and I know we'll argue about it again on Friday and not go. I don't understand how they can stand to sit around this house all day. It's so miserably boring. Blah!

Sporkle?

I was so bored today that I actually (gasp!) started writing a fanfic. Yes, fanfiction. Something I have kept myself from for... oh, probably two years. And it's an odd one. And I'm trying to take it seriously, which is an undertaking in and of itself.

About the only other thing I did today was buy about three pints of ice cream because I couldn't decide what I wanted. You'd be surprised at the number of ridiculous predicaments my mom and I invent. We had to buy cookie dough ice cream for my sister because that's what she wanted, but they only had half-gallons. And we both hate cookie dough. But we didn't want to spend the money on two more pints for ourselves. So we wandered the grocery store for another fifteen minutes or so looking for other desserts and neither of us wanted any of them. Then we decided to look for cheese. But good cheese was just as expensive as ice cream. So we decided that we really wanted the ice cream, but just didn't want to admit it. And by the end of it all we ended up with three pints (frozen yogurt Cherry Garcia, Primary Berry Graham, and Boysenberry sorbet). Mmmm... but I feel guilty.

Hmm... I think I'm going to go write more now. Hopefully I'll get somewhere near a chapter or two tonight, so I can post it and beg for reviews. Hehehe.
