OK, so I'm up way past my bedtime again. But it's worth it. And I promise myself I won't sleep through my Hum class tomorrow. Because that would be a horrible, horrible last impression for me to leave. Ah, evil college. Anyway... this is what I was up to tonight, between trying to defeat DDR in Oni Mode (a futile task if ever there was one) and working out some sort of argument for my Bio paper. I've decided this time around to just forget about whether or not I actually agree with the stuff, and just try to make a strong argument. Forget my opinions, for they are invalid.

Come into the Darkness... )

Not quite as long as last night's methinks... but going somewhere, at least. In its own bizarre fantasy teen angst sort of way. It's so beautifully... weird. I'm sure you can all guess exactly which character is in there purely for my own enjoyment. I wanted the herione to flirt with him more, but nooo... someone thinks she's attracted to Alex. Oh well, there's a whole ton of stuff that happens in the Darkness soon enough, so maybe the dynamics will change. Or maybe Basil will get Virginia. Gosh darnit I love randomly writing things. I think the in-between conversation bits are just as amusing, though. If anyone's particularly bored (and since I haven't had anyone comment in my journal for almost a month, darn you people) you can add a bit on to it if you like. Of course, it will have to meet our approval. Hehehe.

Yeah... I really need to get to bed. I am going to be so tired tomorrow morning. But I am almost done with this quarter, goshdarnit. Almost done.
I got back from my classes this morning and I just felt like sleeping. So I did. And I had a super-weird dream, too. I wrote it down in that weird little green notebook I carry around with me now, that's got a quarter's worth of random thoughts written down before classes. Not much of it is worth transcribing, though. But I'll probably do it sometime finals week when I've run out of other things to do. Umm.. the point of this is, it's an excuse for not writing something over again, so I'm going to copy what I wrote directly. Because I'm lazy like that, and don't feel like thinking like an individual any more than necessary today. Then I'm going to go do some reading for my Bio paper, and continue to pretend that it was James Watson that said hi to me in the Bio building today after discussion (not that it would be completely improbable... and it sure did look a heck of a lot like him).

So, it started out with watching this weird movie that was like Mr Holland's Opus: Redux. And Redux meant it had robots in it. In some part of it, he was trying to outrun some nuclear explosion. We were talking about how once the heat hit him, it was all over. This big building turned orange and then the movie ended. We were walking out and talking about it, then these two guys that were with us offered us rides back. Suddenly we were back at the dorm, which looked like the honors house at OSU, and we found out there'd been a nuclear explosion on the quads. The university kept telling everyone it wasn't a big deal and said that the radiation would only effect a 200 meter radius, so we shouldn't worry about the ash blowing in our windows. They also created a Subway sandwich in its honour. I went downstairs for something and the layout looked a bit like the Reynolds Club. These guys working in this one office kept making fun of me or something, so I tried to avoid them. I ended up in this bathroom with really short stalls where I sat down with this mirror and looked at myself for a bit. Suddenly this guy came in and pulled up a stool in front of the big mirror. It looked like he was about to do something gross, and I was about to tell him that I was pretty sure it was a women's only bathroom when the athletic trainer came in and suddenly the guy became a girl and the trainer told me that she was getting ready for our next meet because she'd been out injured all season. In the meet, the teams switched random players, and played on a football field (or baseball, or something) as home and varsity away. There was also some point where I was standing on the corner of Ellis (really, one of the most evilly-planned streets ever) and my high school pep band was there playing the fight song, and in the middle of it one of the trumpets randomly started playing the Zelda theme as an improv, and then another one across the street started playing Auld Lang Sine. And it seemed perfectly logical to me.

And if that isn't littered with symbolic dream imagery, I don't know what is. The weirdest part was waking up every twenty minutes or so, and then falling asleep again only to pick up just about where I had left off.
