I was actually out of my house today. Exciting, non? I went dorm-accesory shopping, which was quite amusing. I never noticed how much I talk to inanimate objects at stores. I ended up spending about 55 dollars or so, which I plan on weaseling out of my mom at some point. I still lack dishes, bowls, and silveware. And a dry-erase board. But I do have three brightly coloured towels (and I think I'll go back and get the yellow one, too). I need to get the washrags to match them, though. Something I neglected to do since I figured I could pass it off on my mom. Mwahahaha. Then, not long after I got home, I ended up going to the mall with someone else. I only spent five dollars there, though. I got a pair of reversable shorts that go with my bathing suits, so... not bad. I think I might actually get to sleep tonight before midnight. Woohoo!

In other news, it rained again. A lot, especially while I was heading to the mall. I kept hitting these giantic invisible-until-you-hit-them puddles. I was so afraid that I was going to lose control and skid off the road, flip over, and die. And that whoever found me would blame it on the fact that I'm an inexperienced teenage driver.

Oh, while my room-shopping buddy and I were coming out of Wal-Mart, there were these three guys breaking into a car that looked exactly like mine, and that really freaked me out. I wanted to ask them if it was really theirs, but I sort of figured they wouldn't be stupid enough to break into someone else's car in the middle of the day. At least I hope. If they actually stole stuff from it, I'll feel really bad. Not that I could have done much to stop three 20-something guys. Asking them stuff probably would've gotten the crap beat out of me... they looked the type.
