So, last night's dream. What can remember of it, at least. I know in one part I was in this strange port that was obviously part of England. I was in a little boat, and someone was trying to steal this old sailing ship. I got on board and tried to help, but only succeeded in knocking the sail into the water. All the sails had bulls' horns attached to them, and weird things like that. I went down underneath, and tried to look around down there, and it looked an awful lot like a regular building. I stayed in this one room, and then the rest of the people that were trying to steal the ship found me, and I was on the manifest as something like Mari (and I know it was spelled with an i), but they insisted on calling me one, and the captain was mad that I was in his quarters. So I went out and wandered around. I think after this point, the thing ceased being a ship until much later. There was some sort of Wigu convention going on, and I thought about how cleancut everyone was. I wrote something about it in my journal, and posted a lot of pictures of someone named pie, and was later accused of stalking people. This weird frantic/excited guy (it may have been the pie person) ran out to his car to get his new green shirt, but I never got to see what it really looked like. I walked into the gym, which looked like the gym from my middle school, and there were all these old books (oh, who's dreaming about Ninth Gate because she was up until 1:30 last night watching it? Me!) with pictures of people's graves and other weird things. I kept looking for the Mari name that I was under on the old ship, but the closest thing I could find to it was a lieutenant captain of the ship that had only lived to be ten years old. I went oustide, and all of a sudden I was in the middle of Chicago (I think there was something brief in the parking lot about me not having a car, so I took my bike). For some reason, I was briefly in my car with my little sister, and she had the Regal music CD so we were listening to it to try to figure out the words to the BNL song. In my dream, it started out like Pinch Me, sounded a lot like One Week, but was sung by Guster. We turned the corner, got out, and then I was pushing my bike around Chicago, I think I was with my friend that just went to Ithaca. I was tired of pushing my bike, so I shoved it into this display for a department store that was surrounded by plastic rather than glass. It was full of patriotic swimsuits, and my bike matched it because it had red, white, and blue streamers all over it for some reason. We went into this book store and sat down to eat around all sorts of weird people (some of the same from the convention, even). The food was all-you-can-eat, but you had to do weird things to get it. I remember someone telling me that they couldn't get the plastic off the salad until they spun it around, because they were all out of the normal kind. I had a bag of weird cosmetics, like red green and blue lip gloss with little silver sparkles in it, and these two people at our table were trying to buy it, but one of the containers leaked and we had to throw it out. One of the people working as a waitress was one of my managers from work (the old replacement GM), and some guy at the next table was telling her she should have been Miss California, and she just kept laughing shyly. It was then that I noticed that the theatre music was playing in the restaurant, and I got mad about it because I was tired of hearing it. I asked why no one could play anything else, and everyone just sort of stared at me. I went outside, and suddenly I was in the water with the big ship again, and the crew had thrown me overboard. All of a sudden (again) I was in this big invisible elevator, and I was upside down. I was going up to see some man and Johnny Depp was standing over me. When I got off the elevator, I looked like I was ten years old, and I was left walking around the outside of a boarding school. And the being thrown overboard part happened twice.

In conclusion, I should stop staying up until 1ish watching weird satanic movies with Johnny Depp in them. And I should stop getting up at 4:12 in the morning because it's storming out and everyone else in the house is up walking around and doing noisy things like slamming all the car doors.

Now that all the music in my playlist is mine, I'm noticing a lot of good, interesting songs that I didn't now I had. Yay to new, unnoticed music!

Good: I am now officially immune to meningitis.
Bad: I had to get stabbed with a needle, my arm hurts, and I didn't even get a cool band aid.
Indifferent: I saw someone I work with there.
Good: The nurse was nice.
Bad: I had to get up early... and needles hurt!
Good: It's payday.
Bad: I never get to spend the money.
Good: I get to go shopping for more dorm stuff today.
Bad: I have to spend money.

I think I'm going to go find those funny animal band aids that I saw at the store. They had all sorts of weird animals on them, like armadillos and giraffes. I want armadillo band aids, darnit!!

It's storming outside. I'm still able to be on the computer. Batteries are wonderful. If only I didn't run this down so quickly. I need a battery that lasts five hours rather than three. But really, I can imagine myself really needing that much time before I can plug it in again. I'm just greedy and power hungry. I hope the power doesn't go out here. It would be really weird if it did. Because I'd still be sitting here. At least until my battery ran out. I wonder why it's stormed so much lately. At least jut today. I wonder if having this on my lap makes me any more likely to be struck by lightning.... I should at least get my head off of this metal headboard, huh?
While I was sitting here, rambling about typing while it was storming and my mom and sister were watching the Ninth Gate, we completely missed all the severe storm warnings. When I stopped writing, the wind was so bad that all the trees were falling apart, and I got sent outside to roll up all the car windows. I ran through the driveway and almost fell on a bunch of really wet leaves. I came back inside, drenched, and heard a big CRACK, and then several other big cracks. And a thump. And lots of wind. The storm itself didn't last very long, but it shredded all kinds of trees around here and knocked my mom's poor rubber plant off the front porch (but it's made of rubber, it'll survive). For awhile everyone was turning around in our driveway, and we couldn't figure out why. It turns out the our neighbours got slammed. All the trees in their yard lost about half of their branches, and the entire top of the big maple in their front yard fell right across the road. They used all their tow trucks to drag it off the road, though. It's rather funny that they're the ones that happen to have a tow truck company, hmm? A lot of trees all over the place here are all over the road, and it looks like we had a mini tornado, that obviously came while I was outside rolling up all the windows. Lovely. Hooray for risking the life of your daughter to save the interior of your car!

And now it sounds like it's going to storm again. Stupid cold front! Go harass someone else! I wanted to go swimming today.
