Sort of slept in this morning... the world may never know if I actually get everything done today (at least until some time tomorrow). I woke up this morning to the news that I'll actually be flying back in for Spring Break (yay!). I'm still sad that Amtrak doesn't stop in Youngstown anymore. I'm losing some of my precious indie-ness. But I get to fly somewhere for the first time ever! (Which means dealing with O'Hare on the way out, and Midway on the way back in. Fun, ne?)

Ah, and now for the New Year's resolution stuff. Hehehe. So, last year I believe my resolution was something along the lines of "write more," which boiled down to "Okay, let's try for an entry every day." Because I'm screwed up like this, I can tell you that I only missed 45 days this year, which means I had an entry for 88% of the days this year. I did, however, make 554 entries this year. Which means I averaged more than 1.5 entries a day. I apologize to your friends pages. I also wrote probably over 100,000 words of fiction. Which is yay. Actually, I'm probably throwing a few essays in there too, but because of the required amount of BS they count as fiction, too. The fiction-fiction is better though. Hehehehe.

So... what new resolution can I make this year? I er... don't really know. It's hard to concentrate when my mom's reading the Personal Ads from the UofC alumni-type mail she gets for some reason (someday maybe there will be a UofC alum in the family... but not for another two years). So, since I did such a good job of keeping last year's resolution, I think I'll stay on the same sort of track. In addition to working harder on my grades and getting myself away from the people that bother me, my plan is actually to write less in here. No more of those entries-for-the-sake-of-writing. Only when it's worth writing down. Instead, the time that would normally be spent on entries will be thrown into fiction. My goal's 500 words a day. Nice and manageable (and will make it easier come November when Nanowrimo rolls around again). Oh, and I should get back in shape (sadly, the motivation for this is cosplay. Mwahahahaha!). So, we've got a resolution I will probably break, and a resolution I can keep. We'll see which is which. I hope they don't conflict with each other too much...
