I hate how constantly discouraging this school is. Maybe it would be best for me to get out of here. I mean, it can't be good when (especially when) you think you've done well on your exams only to get the grade back and the only reaction you have is "WTF?" I think, as long as the curve doesn't screw me too badly, I'll still manage a B in Physics (shame, I almost had an A). And if I'm lucky a B in Sosc (probably a B-... so dead on that one). Oh, and if I'm super lucky, I won't get a C in CompSci. I just don't understand this! No matter how much I study, no matter how confident I am in the material, something is wrong, either in the way I write or in my handwriting or just... me not understanding the questions the professors are asking. I just don't get it. I... URGH! I hate this school. I hate it so freaking much.

Hehehe, my dad was talking again about emmigrating to Canada today. Mayhaps we shall (but he wants to go west), and then I could justify transferring to a Canadian university. (-:

And yes, the most certainly have a habit of curving marks down here. I have no idea what to expect in physics. At the start of the year he told us that about a 75 would be a B, which I found VERY hard to believe, and considering the averages on all the quizzes and tests I don't doubt that he's bumped that up to about an 85... so yeah, even though I had around an 87, the final killed me and I'm down to an 81 (I still don't understand how that happened, I'm going to have to beg for it when I get back so I can see what I did so wrong).

and: your school is evil. EVIL. how can they justify curving marks down?! an 81 is an A here! gah.
