Hey, I've still got an hour before I have to leave for work... That's a new feeling. I actually got up at 8 today, I'm so proud of myself. I think I'm going to force myself to get up in the morning and drive my sister to school when it starts, just so I can screw up my sleep schedule enough to start college off on the right foot. 32 more days before I leave! I'm so excited! Also, I'll have my computer on Tuesday, which makes me very happy. I'll have a little less than a month to get used to it, but that'll be alright. I also have to pay for it myself, which sucks since I'm barely going to have enough left for it, which means I won't be able to buy anything extra. Darn my addiction to weird shirts.

Speaking of which, I had a rather weird dream last night, and I actually remember enough of it to write about it... We got new shirts at work, and they were black t-shirts with this little yellow Regal Cinemas super hero on front, with a lot of pointless writing on them. It looked a lot like my I am Made of Poison shirt, and I picked that one up by mistake and took it to work. We were supposed to wear the t-shirts only at night, and I was working 12-8, so I had to start the day in my normal uniform. I went to change into the night uniform (which also included band pants, for some reason), when I noticed that I had accidentally brought the wrong shirt. All the girls thought it was funny, and said it would be alright anyway, but I didn't want to serve people food in a shirt that said I am Made of Poison, and I didn't want the general manager to see me (she's been back for two days now and has yet to acknowledge any of the new employees). So I wore my normal uniform and hoped that no one would notice. Then I went into one of the theatres to watch the Matrix, and there were all kinds of older people there that told me that the best seats were in the middle.

Last night at work was really weird, which is probably why I had a dream about it. I worked from 12-8 without a break, because the managers forgot that I existed, apparently. The people during the day weren't as insanely freaking evil as the ones that I had to deal with Friday night. We were steadily busy from about 3 until I left at 8. Around 5:30, we had to open the third popper (which, apparently, hadn't been used for more than a year). I guess on Friday night they sold out of both showings of Freddy v. Jason. I don't see the appeal of that movie, and it's drawn the strangest crowd I've ever seen there. I miss the American Wedding crowd, though, because they were all nice. There was some insane jerk yesterday that yelled at poor MC (she's had a bad two days at work) for everything. I guess he's in there pretty often, and he always comes to two movies and buys a medium popcorn and a medium drink before each, and no one can offer him anything else without getting yelled at. I hate people like that... I just wanted to tell him to go gnaw his arm off or something. Bah!

Wee! Back to the long-ish entries. Hey, my roomie e-mailed me back. Good news, eh? Hooray for not scaring people away! I can't wait until September!

Why does this stupid computer think I'm not connected to the internet! I can't wait to be on my own computer. Mmmm, computer.
