Grrr, KAA! How dare you make the Fuhrer President-King and only President-King, not Fuhrer? How dare you use the word Generalissimo in reference to him (actually no, that was sort of funny). But above all, because this bothers me more than anything else ever... PEOPLE SHOULD NOT TRANSLATE HUGHES' WIFE'S NAME AS GLACIER!!!! Her name is Gracia. Heck, Glacia if you're on crack... but really... Glacier is a giant block of ice in the ocean, the sort of thing that sinks the Titanic. Gracia is a really a name for people. Is it that hard to translate?
Why is there no consistantly well-translated good-quality FMA? I'd say screw it and buy the DVDs, but then 1) they're not out yet 2) they're going to cost thirty dollars and 3) after seeing itatakimasu as "I partake!" in the official sub of the Cowboy Bebop movie, I have basically given up hope. Especially because in the French and English dubs it was "bon appetit." Is the translation that hard? Mmmm, now I want to watch the French dub again. Mmm, French dubs. French is the main reason why Gankutsuou wins so many points with me right now. Wee! I should sit down sometime and ramble about all the new series, because I think by now I've seen the first few episodes of at least five of them... Letsee.. My-HiME, Gankutsuou, Tactics, Genshiken, Grenadier, Bleach. Guess that's six. And still I only care about Bleach and Gankutsuou. I may follow Genshiken though, because I did actually laugh at it. And Grenadier is pretty and not too bad, but I don't know if I can deal with the giant breasts and gratuitous nudity. It's too... full of fanservice, and a lot like Trigun. Only without Vash or Wolfwood, and thus not cool. And Tactics is sort of pretty, but.. I dunno... I get bored watching it. Same thing with My-HiME, though the premise for that is slightly better/more original. Nothing can replace my FMA though... except maybe the manga... which is better anyway... mmm, manga-Roy. Manga-Roy is almost on the same level of scheming awesome as Hughes. Holy crap I am easily distracted. At least I made an entire circle... I should go downstairs and check my mail.
