I am totally checking this book out of the library:
An easie introduction to the philosophers magical gold : to which is added, Zorasters Cave as also John Pontanus' Epistle upon the mineral fire otherwise called the Philosophers Stone / by Geor. Thor, Astromagus. BF1630.T48

I mean, the rare books section at this university has to do me some good right... and the title alone is great... I think we should go back to giving books titles like this. Like "A Modern Introduction to Physicks in Which The Greater Myfterie of Quantumne is Alfo Hinted at But Not Truely Resolved Thus Caufing Failure No Matter What For Engineerf, Scientiftf, and General Nutjobf Crazy Enough to Take the Claff."

Holy crap.. we've also got a copy of the Mirror of Alchemy, which, I believe, is referenced randomly many times in FMA. Might actually have to read that... Woo special collections! BF1410.B25130 1992

Also, this: The Hermetic and alchemical writings of Aureolus Philippus Theophrastus Bombast, of Hohenheim, called Paracelsus the Great. Now for the first time faithfully translated into English. Edited with a biographical preface, elucidatory notes, a copious Hermetic vocabulary and index by Arthur Edward Waite. B785.P2A42W202

The Regenstein wins the internet tonight. Tomorrow, hello 3rd floor stacks, my new best friend.

[Edit: Freakin' A! Nicholas Flamel on the B-level, here I come!] QD25.F6130 1994
