I can't believe I managed to drag myself out of bed and get to class this morning... I ended up being awake until at least three last night. I was up until two fiddling with my program (which still doesn't exactly work right, but at least it works in all cases but one), then the radiator in my room was making this horrible tea-kettle sort of noise. I should've just gone to sleep on the couch with a note on me to wake me up at 8:30. But... ah well. I am awake and semi-functioning now (I even remembered to grab money before I left campus today so I can pay people the money I owe them!).
The non-practical upshoot of my lack of sleep though, is the complete absence of anything interesting at all to talk about, since I had no weird dreams last night and haven't done much of anything today (or yesterday, for that matter). Well... physics lab started yesterday, which was surprisingly non-evil! Rejoice! Our instructor/TA-person has got to be the most forgiving lab-person ever... and if you ask him a question, he'll tell you the answer straight-out instead of dancing around it to try to get you to figure it out and really only confuse you more like every other lab instructor I've ever had. And my partner and I get along, so all is yay.
Oh, which vaguely reminds me of what I was going to write about Wednesday night, but sort of forgot to. In the hour I was waiting for the bus after physics discussion (it was partially my fault, I'm sure I missed a bus waiting 15 minutes for a milkshake in the C-Shop) a two of the employees came outside and started arguing very loudly. The girl was super-ticked that she was stuck on milkshakes again, so she and the guy were screaming back and forth for a fair amount of time. A few of the people started laughing, and all, and I tried to tune it out because... umm... I'm weird like that. So I instead of sneaking peeks at them, I was staring across the street and watch other people's reactions... and this random guy coming down the other side of the street looks over... pauses... then walks over behind the church sign and starts taking pictures. I was like... wtf??? Then I started laughing, so the guy sitting next to me assumed I was laughing at the scene (which had now escalated with the addition of some other lady who came out of Bartlett across the street or something), and started talking to me about getting the university to offer an ebonics major. Yeah... after 8:00 at the UofC = weird.
Ahh, and there was this weird dream I had two nights ago, too. But unfortunately all I can remember is being in my sosc class or something, and hearing someone knock on the door. Everyone started yelling come in, and was yelling "Icha Icha"... which started this argument as to whether or not you could answer a door with Icha Icha... and I insisted that you could because, afterall, it means "come come."
