Or... you know... two days later. Which ever comes first. I am.. all alone now. It's sort of scary. The Rescom barbeque starts at like, three but since it's so early I'm not sure if I'll go or not. I don't feel like leaving yet. Especially since it just took me almost two hours to get SP2 installed and the whole thing working again. I still don't have the firewall equipped on my internet connection because (stupid me, again) I got mad at it for something that was really my fault.. for... umm.. sort of telling my real firewall to block my entire computer from the internet. Of course it didn't say that straight out, oh no... it just looked suspicious. Those popups should say YOUR COMPUTER WANTS TO ACCESS THE INTERNET Y/N? Not "blahblah.exedlldoom is trying to access the internet from SYS32" and I'm like "Sys32... I think I know everything in there that wants the internet... if I don't recognize it it's probably SPYWAREDOOM." But nooo, freaking sp2 changed the NAMES so now I don't know what's what... blasted thing. And I have yet to see if it truely screwed up my codecs. It'll probably be a while before I find that out, unless I get so bored I'm ready to die. I don't feel like watching anything right now. Hehehe. So... letsee.. my parents got me back here around 11, which wasn't bad. I suppose they'll make it home on time now. My mom cried, like she always does, which made me sad. But at least there were no bagpipes this time. I'll skip a summary of the weekend because it was mostly wandering the town and lots of arguing because my dad expected that I knew where I was going on the roads when really all I know are the public transportation routes. And he's not too great at taking directions... mostly because I shout them out two seconds before we're supposed to do something because I 1) am not used to having to give directions and 2) can't see road signs from the back seat. The lunch with the Daughters of Sweden wasn't all that bad.. the food was good, the country club was, well... a country club. And the weirdest thing was that I knew one of the other UofC girls there from my French class, and recognized the other because she lives in my dorm. How odd is that?

Well, I guess I'll go run around the internet for a bit at this great speed, and enjoy it before everyone else gets back and kills the network. Heheheh.

It is my policy to attend the meeting of any cult offering me a sum of about 5,000 dollars... as long as they don't want me there to eat me or something...

Yeah... I wish I could see it before it went straight to the University, but it's more of an in-writing-only sort of thing that doesn't make a whole lot of difference except when it comes to resumes and all.
