OK. Today officially qualifies as STRANGE. You bet I'm not going to complain though... I need interesting stuff to happen. I've been working day shifts by myself for the past few days, which is torture if there ever was any. We only had about fifty people the entire day today. But... we had this one really odd guy. He came in with a nametag on that said General Manager... and it had our District Manager's name on it... I was a little thrown off, but I made sure I offered him the combo and upsold his drink and all, just in case. My logic went around in circles and eventually concluded he was both the district manager and not the district manager. Because why would the district manager come in with a name tag on? But... who else would wear his name on a name tag? Therefore: He is both. I suppose if he is actually our DM, I'll hear about it tomorrow.
Then, tonight, to make things weirder, I got an e-mail that I suddenly have a new roomie. Even though my old roomie didn't ever tell me she was leaving us. It ought to make things a bit more interesting this year, if nothing else! So... in short, yay! It'd be great if she's an O-Aide or something so I can get to know her before everyone else moves in, but that's not too likely. I suppose I'll have to e-mail her or something soon enough (maybe she can cook). Hehehehe. I wonder how she ended up in our room anyway. We didn't even get a chance to scare her away like everyone else that gets new roomies! There is still the possibility that my other roomie knows her, though. But she hasn't said anything to me, either. Oddness.
