If AOL was a real, tangible being I think I'd kick it in the shins as hard as I could right now. And then yell at it a bit.
Today at work was pretty evil, and I'm rather hoping that I won't have to go tomorrow, but I probably will because that's my luck (though I don't think we're getting anything new tomorrow and we were awfully slow today). So.. I won't ramble on too much about how this morning (technically afternoon) sucked at work, because I'd rather forget about it. Let's just say it involved missing keys, no power, congealed oil, an overheating hairdryer, and angry-for-no-reason customers. All the lovely ingredients of a simply beautiful day. But it got better by about 2, and I was able to be amused by it all. Things went smoothly after the other concessionist showed up, and I got to leave a little before five, in just enough time to go out to eat with my friends (yay!). So we sat around and talked and ended up at two different tables (which wasn't all that great, but that happens on all-you-can-eat wing night). It made sense though, since it seperated the two halves that didn't really know each other anyway. There was some scheming on my part to force everyone to roadtrip with me back to Chicago over winter break, since I go back so much earlier than everyone else, and we could all spent the weekend hanging out in Chicago before I have to start gloomy evil (but less evil than spring) winter quarter. Here's hoping we can find a way to work that out, because that would be better than my one friend just moving me in in September (and we avoid the whole not-technically-allowed-to-have-guests problem). Yay!
