What a day at work. I really, really didn't want to get out of bed this morning for some reason... I think it was just the day. Who knows. I got to work at 11 and started getting things together. I figured it would be an alright day because I didn't mind anyone I was working with (I don't think there is anyone I actually mind much this summer) and we should have been pretty busy. But nooo. It had to be one of the slowest-going days I have ever worked. It was terribly slow as far as people coming in, but it was horrible for some reason. There wasn't even anything left on the list of evil things to clean. We mostly just stood around, and even though we were all talking the time just refused to pass. Plus I ended up working til six instead of five because one of the girls needed to go home earlier. I needed the extra hour though, so I won't complain about that. And from 5 to 6 is never bad, it's just the hours leading up to it. Oh! And I saw some of the weirdest shirts today. I guess the dorks are coming in to see Napoleon Dynamite or something, because I've seen some interesting people lately. I even saw an ACen shirt today, which caught me off guard. I almost wanted to talk to the guy... it was one I hadn't seen before, from 2001. I think I've seen all of them from 2000 on up now. There was also a guy in a Homsar shirt. Which isn't as remarkable, but we're talking about rural Ohio here. We are in touch with so little.
I really wanted to do something tonight, but no one else was in the mood to do anything. And most of my friends are working and with their respective boyfriends and all, so I dont' feel like I can just randomly call them up anymore. We've always got to plan. So I ended up playing DDR for another two hours. I wish our pads worked properly all the time so I wouldn't get so angry at them.
Gosh darn it, I am still hungry! It is only 11, so I suppose I could find something to eat. But I don't like to eat this close to when I go to bed... though who knows when I'll get to bed. I'm in the mood to watch something, but I've got no idea what. I'm sort of temped to start .hack again (only watched the first episode)... and it looks pretty. Few things could be as screwed up as Wolf's Rain. Eep! Not that I didn't like it, hehehe. It just had some... well, you'd see if you watched it all the way through. I did tell my sister I'd watch Eva though.. I just can't get up the motivation to do it. Blargh.
I suppose I should sign on to my proper screen name and check my mail. I don't understand why I can connect to websites on this one and not my normal one. I suppose I have always had bizarre things wrong with my other screen name though... on the old computer sometimes it'd randomly stop letting me open new browser windows and freeze my favourites list. I think maybe AOL has something against my screen name.
