Ah, my nice relaxing quiet weekend is over... last one I'll have all quarter (Becada next weekend, then lots of papers and preparing for finals). I got so freaking much done this weekend, it's amazing. It's like a borrowed someone's spare Asian work-ethic (something I consider mythical in all but a few cases anyway). I finished up Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep while contemplating its philosophical meaning and everything, so I can write my paper for Philosci on it. Yay. I really haven't touched anything on my Civ paper since Thursday night, but that's alright... it's a relatively straightforward paper. And the best part is that I'm halfway through my response paper for Tuesday in Hum, and I think I've got a decent topic for my paper. Provided we don't talk too much about it in class, in which case I'll have to go back and start again because I can't write on anything we've already discussed in class since that's what I've been yelled at for over and over again in Hum. Especially by the TA. Which I don't think is fair, because it's really hard to come up with something that hasn't been touched on in class yet. Gah.
So... basically today has been: sleep in, sit in bed for a few hours watching Full Metal Panic, talk to dad online, find out some super-scary stuff that happened to people where he works and feel afraid for him (I don't want him to die because of stupid breaking glass!), watch a bit more anime, do some laundry, hear about the trip uptown to someone's house last night that I politely skipped for my many reasons (though I do regret it a bit, it sounds like it was fun), play a bit of GoldenEye, finish Androids..., finally finish downloading the ROD OVA, start on my Hum writing... and now sit down and write a bit here for the heck of it.
Oh, and it's storming again. It was raining super-hard a few minutes ago, which was awesome. Everything's going to be so soaked tomorrow morning. And I'm gonna have to trek across the... oh no wait, tomorrow's Monday, I'm on my bike. Dear goodness I hope it's not still raining tomorrow morning. Though, the bus does stop now in front of Ratner. Way to go UofC, when I've got THREE MORE CLASSES LEFT THERE. Gah!
