Paper done. Villy tired. People needed to get out of Villy's room about an hour ago, so she wouldn't still be up worrying about this paper.
Goshdarnit I hate how much I just refuse to look over my papers once they're done. It just takes me so freaking long to write them once I reach the end I really can't stand to see them anymore. Or at least as far as assignments go. I hate writing under deadlines, it ruins all the fun. I have to remember my advisor appointment tomorrow at 3. Hopefully I won't sleep through it or anything. Hehehe. Then Thursday at 1 I've got an interview with the Rescom guys. I figure at the very least I'll end up as an orientation computer person. Which gets me here early (woohoo!) without any of that unnecessary mucking about teaching the first years about campus (WOOHOO!). Unfortunately I think most of the people that were supposed to be O-Aids with me didn't even apply. Oh, it ought to be an interesting O-week nonetheless. Especially considering all the house themes we've tossed up. I'm so totally in if we decide on the videogames theme. I would be willing to spend my free time painting FF murals onto the walls (because I would refuse to let them stick to Nintendo, which was the original plan). And natually I'd throw in a bit of Xenogears for good measure. Ooh, I can see it now. And it looks lovely. And all the first years hate us for it. But nothing in the world is weirder than the Wizard of Oz. Eep.
Well, I'm just glad this paper's done with. This two-ton elephant icon of mine's gonna be all over the place anymore. It's so useful. Today, for one reason or another, I was thinking of bizarre mixed metaphors, and I thought of a white elephant eating a red herring. I should work that into my sci fi story. That is going to be one massive disturbing conglomerate that you will probably get to read, because I will force feed it to you. Probably while I'm writing it. Woo. Or: Mwahahahaha!
