Well... what a surprise. I have accomplished nothing today. Unless being too lazy to go to dinner and downloading jpop counts as accomplishing something. They probably cancel each other out. Yay music that just can't be translated properly and throws in random English words. So. weird.
At least I've gotten a tiny bit farther on my Civ paper. I promise myself I will at least get a page of it before tonight's over. And now would be a great time to do it since everyone's pretty much still at dinner. I guess I'll start after I write down my dream.
It's rather weird, because I didn't really remember it until a few minutes ago. There were two unconnected parts to it. In the first I let some of my friends borrow my computer for a little bit, and they managed to download this ridiculous virus by going to some random website. It made these weird icons appear on my desktop and every time I tried to delete them they'd multiply and make a new folder. I couldn't do anything about it, and it basically made my computer useless. I remember beating one of them in the head with a small metal trash can and screaming at them that they should have known better. I eventually got it fixed somehow, but it messed up the size of my icons and I couldn't get them back. It also moved them all over to the other side of my desktop. I was royally annoyed. The second half was a lot weirder, and I wish I could remember all of it. I was in this really strange city that was a grey-metal version of Chicago, basically. At least as far as the elevated-trains were concerned. My roomie and I were running down this street, and I had to catch the train for something (I might have been delivering something to someone, I wasn't running away from anything). I climbed up on this big pole and jumped down while my roomie kept telling me that it wouldn't work. I jumped down onto the top of the train, and climbed down inside through this weird hole. The same guys who had screwed up my computer were working in the train, but for some reason I didn't associate the two. There was some sort of strange circus-type thing going on in the middle of the train's route. I was supposed to jump from the train I was on to the other going in the other direction, and I did so sever times. I think in all I went around the train route three or four times. It was really weird, because the route had strange dropoff and stuff. Eventually the two trains that were supposed to be going in opposite directions caught up with each other, and I was on top of the back train. My mom was there somewhere at this point, telling me something but she wasn't really speaking. It was all pretty nonlinear, so it probably wasn't supposed to make sense.
