It's super-windy out. I am wind-burned and sunburned. Bright red. I look like a... red something. I have never ever been sunburnt before the first week of April was over. Eep.
I got back from the meet at like, 4:30. I didn't get food until 7:30 or so because people here are nuts and couldn't just find a place to order from and decide. Hehehe, but I've learned to deal with that alright. I hope they didn't think I was being too cranky... I was pretty hungry since I'd only had bagels and granola bars all day. Bah. Hungry me makes cranky. Afterwards we wanted to watch a movie, so we all walked down to Borders to get movies and stuff. Movies! When we want movies here, people go out and buy them. Can you believe that? Hehehehe. Of course, we bought Stargate tonight. Last time it was Princess Bride (plus this time there was no lonely old guy to talk to people for hours on end). All worthwhile. It's been so freakin' long since I've seen Stargate. Such a good movie. Mmm. And I can't help it, I've got to admit that Daniel Jackson is just adorable dorky goodness. Why world? Why don't guys like that exist in the real world?? Why does science fiction have to mock me like this? More importantly... what the heck's with a list that includes two pseudo-cloned video game characters, the super-dork from Stargate, Mulder, Billy (the Blue Ranger... ok, so that was a pretty long-ago crush)... dude, for the most part what is with me and long-haired blondish (in certain cases blueish)-haired dorks that wear almost exclusively green or blue?? Gah! (To a much lesser extent I could come up with a much longer list at this point containing more dorks that don't really exist and wear green or blue that are probably from video games, but I won't for the sake of my already ragged credibility) It's so sad. Why, why don't these people exist in real life? I... stupid life - being real! If I had gone to MIT, I could be taking a class taught by Professor Daniel Jackson right now. I can pretend, can't I? Even though computer science is very little like anthropology and linguistics... a double major I considered for about 24 hours once. Hehehe.
We'll just pretend I didn't go off on this tangent. There's something both wrong and beautifully gratifyingly dorky about giggling at things you find on google image search.
You know what, there is like, zero chance of me redeeming this entry now. I'm going to quit and go read some bad fanfiction so I can laugh at that, too. I love being a dork.
