Ah, one hour before I head out of the Shoreland with my lightly-packed luggage and take the train back home to Y-town. Ahhh, it's always sort of bittersweet. But it doesn't matter this time, since I'll be back here in about 9 days anyway. Not nearly long enough, as far as I'm concerned. But maybe spring quarter will be fun, who knows. I'm just hoping I get my bike (or a bike... any bike) over here so I can make it from Ratner to Judd in 10 minutes. Ten minutes! And those two buildings are about as far apart as you can get and still be on campus. Grrr. Silly classes. But yaaay, this summer I'll be able to be a lifeguard, which means I could make more than minimum wage! Plus it means I'm a step closer to getting my WSI, which would be great. Ideally, I could spend the summers teaching kids to swim. That would be fun, and it wouldn't be nearly as time-consuming as working at the theatre. While I'm home I have to remember to at least try to find some sort of summer job prospect, since I won't be home again until June. June! Dear goodness that is far away.

I keep worrying that I've forgotten something, because I've packed so light. Everything I'm bringing back fits into one suitcase. It's a big one... but it all fits. At least I'll be able to carry everything this time. Last time was a real pain. Hmm... I hope the train isn't too full this time around. I liked having a seat to myself on the way back home before winter break.

Mmm, I am so glad I'll be home tomorrow. Good food, people... no homework. No papers. No exams. Minimal harassment by my peers. Ahhh.

So, unless I get up the courage to actually take my laptop out on the train, I imagine I'll be writing stuff in my little green notebook tonight. I feel like a longish retrospective entry about this quarter is in order, but I don't have the time to do it now. I guess perhaps I'll do it tomorrow morning, provided I actually get to sleep on the train.. Ah! Now I know what I was forgetting. Tylenol, in case I get a headache. Woo!

(In other news, I believe after this past entry you no longer need Japanese characters to view my journal. I think that might have been a bit of an oversight when I pasted it into my journal. Oh, but it is just a matter of time before it happens again and you know it. Hehehe)
