Yeah, I think Sherlock just is not an ideal fandom for het (not many female characters to choose from, and only two main characters, who everyone already wants to shag each other--there's no way to win (-;) But you're right, there's a good variety. I kind of want to take your Hades/Persephone prompt, but if I take that and Rachel's everyone is going to think I'm sucking up to the mods. (-; I'll probably end up waiting a bit to see what gets picked up and what doesn't.
Pah, minimum word counts. I'm having a hard time trimming things down to reasonable length lately, and when I like an idea I tend to want to write as much of it as possible (which is really not the best idea most of the time. But at least I'm slowly learning to edit. thegameison_sh has been good for that, at least.)
::pats:: I hate those writing slumps. You'll get out of it, though! I think I went the first three weeks of this month without writing much of anything, because I couldn't come up with anything that seemed interesting. I'm still in the "grateful the drought ended" stage, though. Plus I've gotten a lot more shameless about imperfect prose. I used to get hung up on a sentence or paragraph for weeks. But anyway: icon sets are cool too! Or fanmixes! I really want to see a fanmix turn up. I actually kind of forgot about the "fanmix" and "meta" options. Now I'm going to have to reread all the prompts with those things in mind, too.
