Hmm... when you put it that way, being part of something hundreds of people marveled at every day probably wouldn't be too terrible. It's only a small percentage of people who go down into a consecrated ossuary and draw lipstick hearts on skulls. And, I mean, me being me I'd probably find that funny, too, but I have a feeling people were a bit more serious about their remains back in the 1700s or so.
I wonder, if I wanted to be at peace after I died, if I just had them write "These remains are boring" on my headstone, if people would leave me alone... Or would people be more likely to dig me up and check?
