I really, wholeheartedly endorse visiting the Catacombs if you're ever in Paris. I was there in the morning (a bit after it opened at 10), which might be the time it's least full of tourists. It'd be a very miserable experience with noisy people all through, but when there was no one else around it was wonderfully peaceful and amazing. Even the questionable ooze water that kept dripping on me. (-:
