I know, right? It's basically a right of passage.

Hrunting is an Eee. I did a lot of debating on the topic, and in the end I basically ended up getting an Eee because 1) They were marginally cheaper, 2) There was a 12" model, which had a nearly full-sized keyboard, and 3) They didn't come with as much random useless crap has the HPs. I haven't put Hrunting through a whole lot yet (other than toppling off my bike), so I can't necessarily speak for their durability, but it's been almost a year and I can't really complain. (Except the right-hand shift key is the size of a normal key. That seems to happen on a lot of laptops/netbooks, though, and it annoys the crap out of me.) Oh, also (though this may have been fixed in newer models), the video card can't seem to decide what it's doing well enough to stream video online. No matter how you mess with the settings, it ends up choppy and kind of uneven, and even videos on the hardrive end up with some combing, but it's not as annoying.

Do it! It's always interesting to see what other people carry around with them. Though make sure you put everything back afterwards. I almost left without half of this stuff this morning because I just left the pile on the floor when I went to bed. (-;
