I was hoping to run into an alien seamstress and snag a needle, but no such luck. And given that I can't even find my pliers around the mess that is my room at the moment, it may be a very long time before I can make anything out of the armor. Next time we have a cookout I might try heating some of it to see what happens, though. You never know when evil writings are likely to appear and cause you to have a Destiny of some sort.
Oh yeah. I've heard so many horror stories. And a few about people who made the most of it, by bringing chairs and such (actually, in the case of the chair, it was an Urahara cosplayer, which makes it that much better). But... yeah. I ♥ sketchyheart so much for making me part of her "studio" because with my artist's alley badge I could just bypass everything. It's an awesome feeling. (And kind of makes me want to work for the con if I go again next year and she's not there.)
