Woo! I got Guster's new CD today. And it was autographed! Naturally, this makes me all happy. And now that I physically have it (and have spent several hours wrestling with iTunes on this computer to get my library and iPod synced up like I wanted it, to little avail)... I'd like to say that, yes, it is wonderful. Even though it doesn't have as much in the way of hand-drums, it is still wonderful. Especially Manifest Destiny, Ruby Falls, New Underground... actually, there are only about two songs I don't like much. Which is at least as good as Keep it Together did, so Ganging up on the Sun gets full marks from me. Maybe minus a quarter of a point for not having the drums I love so much. But since Guster's still running around playing with new directions, I can deal with that. One thing I find odd, though, is that all the fans keep saying New Underground sounds like nothing they've done before... but if you stick it next to Red Oyster Cult, it makes perfect sense to me. Guess that's just my odd way of looking at things, though. So yes... the CD comes out tomorrow, and I heartily recommend it.

Anyway, so that's what I've been up to today. Fawning over Guster and fussing with my computer. Typical, eh?
