Boredom...

Today I was very bored. To the point that, when I wasn't napping on the couch (it was hot!), I decided that I would make jam. I was so bored, I got strawberries out of the refrigerator, cut them up, mashed them, boiled things, and made jam. I'm sort of proud of myself, though, since it seems to have worked, and it's my first batch of jam ever. Oh, and this means next year at school I'll have something more than peanut butter to put on my emergency crap-it's-past-midnight-and-I'm-hungry sandwiches, because this is my jam, and my mom's not allowed to hoard it like she does with the batches she makes. (I got one jar last year! One!)

My biggest excitement, outside of the jam, may have been trying to find something for my dad for Father's Day. It involved searching through grilling utensils, and buying CDs. Thrilling, let me tell you. I may just die of excitement. (Something needs to be done, my sarcasm has become worse lately. This is not a good thing.)

So, anyone know any respectable employers that are hiring for the summer? Even elsewhere? My sister had my dresser removed from my room because it "takes up too much space", which means I'm likely to be living out of a suitcase all summer anyway. May as well go someplace where I might have a decent internet connection... and less need for a car.

I had a dream last night that sketchyheart and becada422 were not only the same person, but also about 4'6. I have no idea why, but it may have had something to do with origami-done-while-dreaming, and a massive, outdoor LARP. It's larp o'clock! Always! Forever!

Hopefully, by the end of this week, I will have something that may pass as interesting to talk about. Maybe. With luck, Guster's new CD will arrive tomorrow. That'll keep me busy. Or at least, keep me from continuing to re-watch FMA. Which has turned into a lot of random screencapping for icons, despite the fact that my rp journal will not hold any more icons. I can't help it! Oh, the dilemmas.
