Muggings!

Today's theme, after about 1:30 or so, was apparently "muggings." Not that anyone was mugged, except in tall tales involving former muggers on blind dates and nervous habits and desperate chefs mugging waiters for meat. Both of which, I think, will get turned into short stories once I have time again. (Which will be... next weekend. I'll say Saturday.) I believe I've developed a habit of latching on to strange, lawless characters when it comes to short stories. I've got my pirate, and my pyro, and now two types of muggers. I suppose we'll see how long this phase lasts. (At least criminals are interesting, I guess...) And naturally these tales were expounded upon the streets of downtown Chicago while waving at tourists and perplexing natives. A good time was had by all, and I got to pick up more red vanilla tea (mmm). Oh, and we got free cookies, and witnessed a protest/conspiracy rally.

Unfortunately, now I'm drowsy and want to sleep, but I've only written two pages of the paper I meant to have at least five pages of today. Here's to hoping I can finish it tomorrow, because I'm going to need most of Sunday for the film paper, and Monday for the Shakespeare paper... And there needs to be some socialization time in there. Not to mention packing. Gah, I'm so doomed!
