Room 1006 Blackout Procedure:
- Wtf, did my lamp just go out again?
- Wait a second, there are no lights in the room at all...
- Go out into the hall and check to see if everyone else's power is gone.
- Proceed to the ninth floor to confirm that everyone's power is out.
- Return to room, turn off computer to conserve battery, light candles.

solitaryjane, invite her upstairs.
- Brief interlude concerning roomie, first years, and a condom filled with water. (This is not the first time.)
- Argue firmly against playing truth or dare and/or lighting random things in my room on fire.
- Observe the mysterious glow of Gary, Indiana across the lake.
- Attempt to subduesolitaryjane's writerly curiosity enough to prevent her from breaking my bed to see what would happen.
- Play DDR by candlelight until power comes back on.
