Work tonight was... really boring. I think we're majorly over-staffed right now, and for one reason or another hardly anyone's actually getting sent home for it. So, yay 6-11, my first evening shift of the winter. It would have been even worse had I not been working with people who I actually know (most of the new girls are my sister's age, and probably don't want to talk to me). And I've gotta do it all again tomorrow night. And Friday morning. And had one of the girls tonight not been rather nice to me, I'd be working Monday-Saturday next week. Nothing can be done about me having to work 6-11:30 New Year's Eve, though. For the second year in a row! I knew they'd schedule me for that, though, because everyone else in the universe requests it off before I even get back. Darn them. Darn them to heck. At least people have been decent lately, for the most part. There have been a few angry old men demanding coffee immediately... but I'm almost used to them.
Aaand, tomorrow I have to finish my Christmas shopping. So far, I have done a rather dismal job... it's best we not get into it. I have no idea what to get most people, and most people aren't helping, either. (Not that I've helped anyone who's asked me, but I don't mind if I don't get presents, so it's okay! I won't even be offended! In fact, I'd be relieved.)
There was something else I was going to write about, but since I inexplicably got up at 9:30 today, even though I went to bed at three last night, I think I'm going to go to bed. I'm sort of tired.
Oh, right... now I remember.
Dear FMA Fandom,
Stop finding new ways to misspell people's names.
Dear UofCFandom Prospies,
Yes, fun dies at the UofC. I bet it has something to do with all of you making five of the same post to the community every day. We're also all geniuses (geniui? genii? genies?) who lock ourselves in the library and do nothing but study. We don't even speak, let alone chill out and party once in a while.
Crap... most of that is true.
But stop asking anyway!
Less Than Three,
