Well... since it's technically Tuesday now that means two things. One: It's [livejournal.com profile] windresistant's birthday! And two: (which is not at all similar) I have to go back to work tomorrow. Yay and boo (respectively). Hehehe.

I somehow managed to get up at eleven this morning... despite not getting to sleep until at least four last night. Of course I blame Xenosaga. Which I still haven't defeated. I actually spent time levelling up today. I never do things like that. I mean... what the heck? That takes all the fun out of it. I think I might make a run at the final boss again before I go to bed tonight, since I'm waiting for FMA chapter 48 to finish downloading (an hour! An hour! This took like... ten seconds at school!) and for my grades to be posted. Honestly I'm terrified about my grades. Have I mentioned that they depend quite heavily on what sort of mood the professors were in? Because they do. It's so scary. I'm crossing my fingers. But I found a ton of four-leaf clovers in my backyard today, so maybe they'll help me out. (Yes, I'm randomly suspicious like that. I am one strange girl. I mean, I once walked to campus instead of taking my bike because a spider had made a particularly nice web between it and the next bike over and I didn't want to ruin it. This, of course, has very little to do with superstition, but it illustrates how strange I am, I guess. I also felt really bad about inadvertantly killing a moth yesterday. And I saved a butterfly from two of my cats this afternoon because they were chasing it around the circle while it was happily going about its business drinking from the flowers on our bushes).

I am deeply saddened that the prices haven't dropped on Xenosaga II yet. How long does that usually take? I've waited this long, I don't think I want to pay full price for it anymore. But if it's going to be longer than three months before it goes down I might have to break and get it. I want! And I'm never going to get a chance to play it when I go back to school in the fall, and winter break is never long enough to finish something with work and all.

I must be going through some sort of writing withdrawl right now. I'm getting hints of ideas to go back to my nano, and if I find nothing else to do tomorrow I think my computer's coming outside (away from the cat fur and into the sun) and I'm going to get myself caught up on it. I mean, I was awfully close to the end as it was. Just a few more moves, a few fill-ins in the middle, and it'd be over and done with. Then I can move on to my honest writing sample for getting into classes next quarter. Yay!

All right... off with me, to do whatever I was planning on doing before going to sleep. And just a friendly reminder to people: Sugar does not make you drunk, despite what countless teen fanfiction-writers will tell you! Yay!
