Hooray!

Merry Christmas everyone! (And if you're not celebrating then um... Happy Saturday!)

So, I'm in a much happier mood now. Probably the holiday spirit finally seeping its way into my calloused and depressed UofC heart (a bit late now, but it'll do). All our gifts this morning that are usually labeled "From Santa" were all from random characters like "Father Time" and "Scrooge McDuck." "Jolly Old Elf" gave me my big military-type boots, so I find myself once again reconsidering my stance on making that Hawkeye cosplay work in time for Acen. If my mom refuses to take me shopping for long tomorrow, I think I'm going to go look at fabric and patterns. I'm not going to have a whole lot to do Monday and Tuesday, and if I can devote two days to working on it here, I can finish up the detail stuff at school. Even though I've now committed myself to working out a life-sized duct tape Al project. Yes. Life Sized. Duct Tape. Alphonse Elric. And I want so badly for it to work. I've already got someone to force into wearing it, and supply the duct tape... and I think I've got enough cardboard in my room to start a base. And a freaking ton of reference pictures. I think I can pull this off. Ooooh, it would be so much fun to make a life-sized duct tape Al.

Ahh, I shall write more later. At this time, I'm accosted by IMs and such, and wishing people Merry Christmas. At least I don't have to work tonight. Yay!
