Freaking UofC!

OK... so my CompSci grade was so incredibly evil, I don't even want to mention it. But somehow, despite my dismal (aside from Physics) grades this quarter, my GPA inexplicably went up... so I've almost got a 3.4 now. I just don't get it. There has got to be some kind of demonic math used to calculate UofC grades. Probably some kind of demonic econ math, depending on my response to their "Merry Christmas, donate some money" card (I think my response is "Merry Christmas to you too, but you can keep your demon math and you're not taking any more of my money"). But anyway... I spent most of this afternoon moping around about my stupid grades, but I think I'm mostly over it now... I'm just going to have to go back and do better next quarter. It'll be tough, because I don't know how hard physics is going to be next quarter, or if compsci will make any more sense, but I feel like I'm pretty stable in Sosc, and Bio has been fairly nice to me, despite all the freaking out I did about it last year. And I am so doing UT. I think part of my problem was just the constant lack of something to do. If my compsci grades continue to suck though, I've got no idea what I'm going to major in. What the heck? I don't want to be an English major, because I want to be a writer, and that would totally screw it over (I've got a nice long explanation for this, don't make me give it).

I actually got up at like, 7 this morning and drove my sister to school. There was some hanging out at the mall later on, and I got a small amount of Christmas shopping done. I'm still on the easy stuff, though. I'm lost on most of my friends here and at school. Drat you people!
