Oy

( Jul. 23rd, 2004 03:17 am)
I officially declare Wolf's Rain to be one of the weirdest things I have ever witnessed the end to. Oy. Oh well, at least no one spoiled it for me this time. Which marks the first series I've ever finished without having a major plot point spoiled for me. And I won't spoil anything for you... instead I'll just mention that the most disturbing part was the way my sister and I kept getting Albedoed every ten minutes because the computer would try to go to the screensaver and freeze up because of DivX and nothing but my background and skipping music would be playing. It was quite creepy the first time. "Gasp! Those eyes! You're a... OH NO! IT'S ALBEDO! AND SKIPPING FOREBODING MUSIC! RAR!"

Well, it's 3:30, I should probably go to sleep. Especially if I want to get up at any reasonable time tomorrow. I hate getting up at noon and only having six hours before I have to go to work. I'm not looking forward to being killed this weekend, but my combos should go up since we'll have a lot of people. Of course, they'll all be the teenage set who don't understand sharing at the theatre even when it involves free candy.

Hooray for watching my sister play Xenogears again. Hooray for Xenosaga 2 this February. And I still want StepMania, even though I'll have to wait until I'm back at school to download it, then I'll have to find the adapters, and some pads that aren't as worn out as mine. Hehehe, I decided that I'd had way too much candy tonight, so I played DDR for about 2 hours or so, going through my impossible Nonstop file and then doing about half the songs. I can pass some of the evil 9s that I couldn't before, but I think I've still got a long way to go before I can finish a 10. Blasted big difference between the difficulties. Of course, nines are more fun to watch, too. Tens tend to just be lots of fast foot movements... I should just learn to do all the fun nines. Like the Chocobo song! That one was fun! And Jenova wasn't bad either, though it was a little rough keeping up. Even the Trigun theme... OK, so yes, I played a ton of anime themes and such at the con. They were there, they were 9s, and I had never played them before. I had to try, ya know?

It smells like Wintergreen over here. Mmm, wintergreen. I have a giant back of Lifesavers... something I haven't had in a while, actually. My house is full of candy... which isn't exactly a good thing for me. Afterall, I had to play DDR for several hours last night to make myself feel better. I have no idea if that got posted or not, since AOL still has a vendetta against semagic. Blasted freaking AOL. I hate it so.

So, tonight at work wasn't bad at all. We've got a new girl who seemed a little bit overwhelmed, but she should be cool enough. And I got to work with most of my favourite people. I get along with the people so much better this summer, for some reason. Though I did like most of the people last summer, too... I just didn't talk to them much.

And to my friends around here that are just hanging around, I have a proposition. And putting it here is just so I remember it and ask everyone about it, probably tomorrow night when I get back from work... I say one of the days we all have off (if we're lucky enough), we should take a mini roadtrip up to Lake Erie and swim and hang out, maybe try to cook something on the grill. It would be an adventure! We never do stuff like that. And if worse comes to worst, then we could umm... find a Regal theatre nearby and I'll get everyone in free. Hehehe. We'll have to see when we're off though, and hopefully we'll be able to do it before everyone leaves in August. Stupid semesters!
