Darn this place to being so condusive to introspective thought. And also darn this place for making me change my mind about it every other day. What a lovely few days it has been. Not in a relaxing way, but more like a got-to-study, but still hang out and have fun sort of way. Not something I get to experience much. My Calculus midterm was actually fun... how screwed up is that? Then I basically did nothing all yesterday afternoon, and then I stayed up until 1ish doing French homework, and still got 8 hours of sleep. And I haven't missed any buses lately. I just lost a dollar playing poker, but that was fun too, since I suck so horribly at it. Really, really horribly. But that's because I never learned to play before I got here. I'll catch on. And maybe I'll work on my poker face. Though, I suppose if I always smirk stupidly, then people will just get used to it. (-: For right now, it's basically substance-free weekend, since it's Parent's Weekend (sans parents, for me). One of my friends' dad is going to take a few of us out to dinner whenever she gets out of the shower (in several years... I've never seen anyone that takes so long to get ready). Free dinner that's not from the dining hall, woohoo!
I've programmed my roomie's computer to say naked every time I program opens. It's funny... still funny, even after almost a week of it. I imagine I'll have to change it back eventually. I'm such an evil roommate. Last time she went back to Wisconsin, I figured out her password and used her computer. But that was before I got my computer back. I don't do that anymore. Hehe. I also managed to get my computer to print to the dorm printers, and to work on the wireless. Yay!
Hmm... everyone's in here playing with the snake that we're not technically allowed to have in here. Coolest snake I've met, though. I should probably stop typing so no one comes over and reads over my shoulder. I sort of deserve it, though... I do it to people all the time.
I love how people can have absolutely random conversations here, that are rather intelligent. Not sure I mentioned the effects-of-flubber-on-the-gastrointestinal-system conversation... or the transitive properties of making fun of yourself.
