Running down the battery...

I've got a bad feeling that I left my computer plugged in all night, which is supposedly "bad for the battery," so since I haven't run it all the way down in about a month, I'm doing that again. Wonderful, eh? Supposedly I have three hours and 19 minutes left of the battery, which is evil. I don't want to have to wait that long. Aaand, now I have 3 hours and 17 minutes... four minutes later. Urgh. Eat up the battery! Now!

I had a pretty weird dream last night, but for some reason all I can remember is shopping for college stuff with my mom, and she bought a dry-erase board and told me it was a hot plate. Seems like the sort of thing she'd be likely to do.

Frivolous Things...

Well, at least I did get out a little today. We went out to Staples to find school supplies for my sister, and to the grocery store. And then over to the library, where they didn't have the book I was looking for because they "misplaced it." Bah! Darn the library! I'll have to check out the actual public libraries in Chicago, too. Just for fun.

I'm trying to talk someone in my family to go see a movie with me that isn't Pirates of the Caribbean. I get to see movies for free this summer. I'm down to less than a week, and all I've seen at my theatre right now is SWAT. What the heck? I don't want to go by myself. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to deal with it.
