I don't want to go to work today! But I think that's mostly because I didn't get home until about 1:00 last night... why does my sister only want to go to movies when I have to work? Pirates was pretty cool... it made me want to be a pirate. Actually, it just made me want to know how to swordfight, and I've always wanted to know that. A bit of it was a little predictable, but its hard to find an unpredictable movie anyway... plus it wasn't nearly as forced as LXG was, and nothing is worse than Charlie's Angels. I still haven't figured out what that one meant. It was just a giant confusing jumble of.. nothingness.

I can't remember the dreams I had last night, but I think it's because my sister's cat stole them. I woke up this morning and stretched, and I hit something soft and furry and it said "MEH!" There are never any animals in my house that make their proper noises. So... umm... since I can't remember my dream and therefore really don't have anything to write about, I will share with you this morning's epiphany:

It wasn't until I saw this picture that I realized that John Allison is actually this guy. Well.. OK, not really. But it's an entertaining thought (JA's far less scary, freaky, and involved in PBS shows). I need to watch fewer kids shows on PBS...
Well, work actually made me hate it less today. It was a horribly, horribly slow day (as all weekdays and most weekends are anymore), and we were about to send one of the concessionists home again. But neither of us wanted to go, so we both got to stay. By about 3:15, the managers decided that there were too many people around, so they sent the guy on the box home, and sent the usher to the box, and left me to be the usher. Which was rather weird, since usher was the only job that I hadn't been trained on. And, they didn't bother to give me any hints as to what on earth I was supposed to be doing, so I just tore tickets and swept out the theatres... the worst was the one where 2 Fast 2 Furious was showing. You'd think it would be one where Nemo, Sinbad, or Rugrats were showing, but those were fine. There was popcorn all over the 2F2F one, and candy wrappers, and it smelled like urine. Stupid.. whatever kind of people go see that movie. Then, it was about 5:00, and all of a sudden about seven people come in to see a showing of Charlie's Angels in theatre 9 that didn't exist. Nine's been broken for about a week now (it caught on fire and spewed dirt everywhere, from what I heard. Did I mention that before?). I guess the usher they sent to the box didn't know that it didn't exist anymore, so I had to chase the people down the hallway, and more people kept coming in with the tickets, and I had to go get my manager, and she didn't want to come out, so I had to act really pathetic because I had absolutely no idea what on earth I was supposed to be doing with the people.

I saw more people that I knew today than usual. One of the girls from my DI team came in to see Finding Nemo. And my math teacher from 5th grade came in with her grandkids. It's strange, going to such a small school, that everyone will remember you forever. Well.. not forever, but if your fifth grade math teacher remembers you, that's sort of unusal, non?

Well, I should go eat dinner now. And exercise. And then go meet someone at Steak & Shake that I was supposed to meet Monday. I'm an evil person sometimes.

I don't know how I'm going to fall asleep tonight. I rode my bike up and down the road a few times, but I'm not tired at all. I've made it my mission that, before midnight, I will backdate and post all my entries from my tripod blog. And then go to sleep.
