Wee. I actually got to go somewhere today! Not much of anywhere, but somewhere nonetheless. I don't know how I talked my mom into taking me out to McDonald's and then to Starbucks. We ended up at Target where I found something that will suffice as a purse (gasp!) though from this point forward I will find another name for it (it's more like a knapsack anyway). It's part of my deal to finally get a cell phone (That wallet of yours is too masculine. I don't like it. And if you want a cell phone, you're going to have to have something other than your pockets to carry it in). Thus my knapsack, now covered in pins but still a little... bare. I am thoroughly tempted to take out my sharpies and doodle on it. But... my sad lack of artistic skills sort of limits that. And if I mess up I'd be sad.
I didn't get back from work tonight until almost midnight... I got off at 11:40. Usually we're out by ten after at the latest. Of course, I don't mind the extra 2.50 or so, but still... we were there longer because our silly token Asian kid didn't clean the poppers well enough. He reminds me so much of Skirtpants it's scary sometimes. Anyway... he was being airheaded and slow all day (even though he has the highest percentage of combo sales out of everyone... but I'll complain about that later) and didn't bother to clean out the poppers correctly. And I have no idea what the other girl was doing, but I'm not going to complain about her because she's nice to me. But I freaking cleaned everything and we have to stay because all he freaking had to do was clean the poppers out... not even the metal stuff! Because I did that too! But just the kettles and the windows... and noo, it's still all messy and our anal manager decides he's going to be picky tonight. I really sound angrier than I am... It's sort of an annoyed bemusement, but that's hard to get across properly in writing.
Anyway... I've got to work again in the morning, so I'd better go find something to drink and then get ready for bed. Yuck.
