It is so hard to get motivated during reading period. Especially when you can spend the morning fooling around with things on your computer and watching random anime (that is very pretty because it's sort of... ripped directly from the DVD). What did I accomplish yesterday? Well... letsee... I did my calc problem set. I ate lunch. I sat around a lot, got bothered a lot, yelled a bit at someone, took a nap, got awakened by the same someone, went to dinner, burned a lot of stuff onto CDs, did some reading, watched almost three hours of Naruto, discovered that that kid with the whitish hair and glasses is cooler than I thought (Yay bad guys!), then eventually ended up in this giant conversation that started with the old Mario games, migrated to a different room and changed to economics in time travel, assassinating former world leaders with lasers, creating new identities/holding companies for yourself in the past, somehow turned to Harry Potter, mutated into a discussion on why we wear underwear (keeps your genitals clean), broke in half while some of us heard about someone's old roomate's sex troubles while the other half of us tried to ignore the other half of the conversation by talking about Harry Potter and Naruto again, migrated back to my room, got really confused, picked up a copy of Cosmo, laughed at the "Penis Reader," and then broke up and I went to bed. I love the sorts of conversations we can have here sometimes. They're not all as much fun as "Why Skirtpants is wrong about going back in time and investing in IBM," but hey. Hehehehe. Oooh, and we also learned the most awesome time paradox ever. Letsee if I can remember it... there is this orphan girl who grows up and goes back in time and gets raped. She has the child, and it's sent to the orphanage. The orphan grows up, gets a sex-change operation, goes back in time, and rapes her mother. She is her own father and mother... and obviously she would have to give birth to herself. Or a child with exactly half of her genes, where all the creepy recessive ones come out. Hehehehe.

Sometime today, I promise myself I will finish a decent draft of my Hum paper. And if I don't do that, I promise myself I will get to at least four pages on my PhiloSci paper (I'm at three right now, though it's not terribly coherant yet since I don't have a thesis). Raaaar! I know if I just sit down and do it, I can finish my Hum paper today and then send it to my TA so she can look over it. Gah! I'd feel so much better if I could get two papers done this weekend, because then I'd have less to worry about. Mmm, less to worry about.
