Ahhh... I so didn't want to go to PhiloSci today, but I sucked it up and went... like a good little Villy. And yaaay my paper isn't due until next Wednesday! Soooo nice! I think this is obviously to blame for my first sort-of selfish impulse-buy in like, months at least. Hehehe. I was walking down 57th (because I didn't want to wait for the bus) and noticed that the bookstore was having it's lovely little 20% off for all members sale. So, being a member I decided to drop in and wander around, because we all know how much I love bookstores (goshdarnit, I wonder how much I'd have to beg to get a job at Barnes and Noble this summer.... mmmmm...). Randomly, I came across Nanny Ogg's Cookbook (it's a Pratchett/Discworld thing, for the most of you that don't know). My train of thought went something like this. "Ohh loook, cool. Hmmm. ::flips through:: Interesting. This would be fun to have, since I've got a kitchen next year. Hmm.. ::three seconds of deliberation:: Oh well! ::buys it::" I totally blame the sunshine and the endorphins. There's just no other excuse. Hehehe.
So, I guess this afternoon we were going to finally get that Boston Market chicken and tear into it at the point, but it looks like it's going to rain again (freaking weather! I guess it's not just Becada's fault... we totally ticked off the weather gods somewhere along the line here). So who knows... I think maybe I'll get some work done tonight. I finally managed to e-mail the Rescom guys and set up an appointment to get everything sorted out for next year (woo!). And Eudora is working again, so I rejoice in the fact that I can actually, once again, send e-mail from my UofC account without logging onto blasted webmail. Hooray! Now, tonight I think I need to get a really decent start on my PhiloSci paper and iron out my final ideas for my Hum paper so I can get both of those looked over around Thursday. Oohhh, if I can get these papers done quickly I will be so happy. And I might just be able to get everything packed before noon on Saturday when I get kicked out of here.
P.S. Grr to all you people at home getting out this Friday, I hate you all and nothing you say can change my mind about it. Double grr to everyone that has already been out for more than a month, because I hate you more.
