... Oh, what's two or three more days?

IF YOU CAN GET INTO MY BUILDING TO PUT THE NOTICE ON MY MAILBOX, UPS, JUST LEAVE ME THE FREAKING PACKAGE. COME ON! THAT'S MEAN. THE FRONT DOOR LOCKS, I MEAN, SERIOUSLY. I'VE ONLY BEEN WAITING THREE MONTHS.

Or maybe you could answer your phones. Or have someplace open past 5:00 so I could pick it up myself. OR maybe not have the only possible place for pickup be at 85th and Cottage Grove because some of us don't have cars.

It doesn't help that I've had a headache all day today. And that I'm foreclosing on the building next to mine.

I really want to go see the Bowerbirds tonight, but it doesn't start until 9 and I just don't know if I'll even still be conscious by then. Goshdarnit. Argh. Stupid Monday.

Post lots of pics when you finally get it!

I was all "... I knew eventually I'd hit a place I'd been to, but this is on the corner of my street!" and then I went to ask my boss if he knew what was going to become of it next. Of course, the girl who works at the desk next to mine thought it was a great idea to suggest that they might tear it down and build something else. Thankfully, the rest of the area down the street next to mine is owned by the University, and even though they're being really dumb and evicting all the local businesses, at least it... well, actually a lot of that is empty now, too. Goshdarn university and recession ruining my corner of the neighborhood.

It's going to be terrible now, because I had to tell them to deliver it to my office instead (a tiny silly part of me wanted to take off work tomorrow and wait for it, but sadly the majority of me knows better than that). I'm going to have a hard time not taking pictures of the box when it arrives, and I'm going to have an even harder time NOT opening it before I leave. In fact, I'm currently considering bringing my case with me to work so I'll be able to carry it home safely, knowing full well that I will open the box at work. Maybe I'll be so much of a distraction that they'll send me home. ^_^
