Crochet Adventures

Since madonnalal asked, and because I've been meaning to finish these guys for a while... (and because random things are fun to share)




This is Tiny Bee. It's very happy to have wings now, though I'm not sure how likely they are to stay put, since I just wove the extra thread into the body. It looks much happier now, though. (I think you can see why it was heartbreaking for me to have it staring up at me while wingless.)



And here we have my dinosaur experiment. He has a tail in back, which you can't see, and I'm still entertaining the idea of putting a loop of yarn through the inside of his head so I can move his mouth with my finger... and he needs legs. But for now, I'm just happy that he has that goofy, muppet-like grin.



Napoleon was a random gift to my roommate from one of her sisters. They decided that he'd fit in much better in our apartment. And I decided that he was too plain. This picture doesn't show the bow-tie very well, but it's actually crocheted into a proper bow-tie shape, and tied in the official bow-tie way. I'm making a full-sized one for a friend, and he plans to wear it to his model UN conference. I am, naturally, all for this.

That bag was a total fluke, I'm telling you. I still can't believe I knitted something that awesome. But the girl I made if for loves the crap out of it and that's all the matters. Now I just need to get to a craft store and get myself some crochet hooks ^_^
