I had a dream last night that I was hoping for trick or treaters and got kidnapped instead. But a made a cunning escape so it wasn't that bad. If it's an omen, though, maybe I should just leave my Kaylee costume in its box...

I'm going to try to. It kind of depends on how the early write-ins go, because I'm not writing without actual people to bounce ideas off anymore. It hasn't worked for me... ever, and I think it's probably the reason I haven't written anything since college. So, here's hoping I find the right group somewhere that can motivate me. And a good place to write.

I'll be sure to let you know. ^_^ Are you aiming to write things for school, or are you writing NaNo things on top of school stuff? (If it's the latter you're more doomed than I am, but it'll be the fun sort of doomed, at least.)

Heh, I'm actually writing both, sorta. I'm writing a novella for school, which will be around 20,000 words, and I'm working on one of my oldest creations for the rest (which probably won't stop at 30,000 words, but we'll see). I discovered that I can't just write without edit, so I figure writing two stories at the same time is a good system, because I can spew crap for one, and the next day spew crap for the other and then edit one some, and then switch, and so on. It'll be more productive than me sitting there trying to spew and edit at the same time, which doesn't work, and so I write like, 100 words per day.

I couldn't resist voting for Refrigerator. At the end of this, please subtract one of the votes from Refrigerator and add it to Yes. Because a Kaylee costume is too awesome to pass up, omens of evil kidnappers notwithstanding.

I generally heap any vote for the fridge in with whatever way I feel like deciding on my own. So you, too, have voted for yes. (My Kaylee costume really needs more wear.)
