Spring, springy spring

I haven't done anything useful since around noon yesterday. I'm going to regret this later... especially since being lazy hasn't really helped anything at all. (In fact, it probably made it worse.) And for some reason, AIM has developed an extreme allergy to letting me online. Yay. So, no harassing people over IM for me.

I did, however, get outside today to take pictures. Marvel at my 5x zoom (which still means I had to get awfully close to that seagul. I think he was a cam whore. His friend flew off fairly early on. And someone called me and scared the poor sleeping ducks. Bah.)

Oh, and just for the record... any series that can end a season using Big Brother and The Weakest Link is kinds of awesome there aren't quite words for.

P.S. I honestly have to answer this question for a class tomorrow: "Why does the ghost vanish into a machine for "Pepsi: ONE"? Is he thirsting for revenge or is there another metaphor at play here in this particular scene?" I suppose, if nothing else, at least my classes are amusing.

I love the photos you took. That ring-bill is cute. XD They look like angry old men, to me, for reasons I can't quite comprehend. We get a lot of them here in Walla Walla, too, this time of year.

Oui-oui. And now I'm carefully contemplating my next move (after taking a few days off in case I've ticked off the network with my downloading ^_^). You were definitely right about the later episodes of the series.

Thank you. ^_^ I think it might be the grey feathers. And the annoyed look. Because I was definitely thinking that, too. (I'm sure, even among grumpy old men, there are cam whores.) There were all sorts of birds about on the lake today. Including a group of three weird black duck-like ones with white bills. Unfortunately, there was a lady talking on her cell phone on the exact rock I'd need to be on to get a decent picture (city people, sigh). I'm still wondering what they were.
