Working, work
Nine more days until I put in my two-weeks. I can't wait. I want to quit! Now! But of course I can't. The worst part is that everyone else always gets sent home early, and I'm the one that always has to stay. And most of the time I don't get a break, which is pretty illegal I think. At least my paychecks will be OK, and I'll be able to pay my mom back for this computer. But I won't have any money left to spend on things during the school year. Not that I'll have time to go out much. I could always beg my mom for like, twenty a month for eating out or something. I've got a four thousand dollar meal plan, I might as well use it. I want to go now! Why am I not gone yet? Why must we be on quarters? Will waiting for school to start always be like this (no, of course not). Maybe next summer I'll have a better job. There's nothing I hate more than actually having to talk to people. And having to start the conversation... that's even worse. I make about fifteen people a day mad at me, and they don't even know me! I have to stand there and say this rehearsed speech about combos and upsizing, and pretend I have no personality and no feelings while people yell at me and curse me for bothering them when they're late for their stupid freaking movie. RunRunRun..."Hi! I can tear your tickets over here!" "No! No time! We're late for Finding Nemo!" RunRunRun... "But I need to..." "We're late! Don't you understand!?" Urrrrrrgh.
Yeah, that's my day at work. When I'm not cleaning or standing around for about fourty five minutes doing absolutely nothing at all waiting for the next set to start.
I had about four or five very brief dreams this morning, but that's because I got up at 8 and kept going back to sleep every fifteen minutes. I know one of them involved a giant gold jewel-covered swimming pool, but I don't remember anything else much about it.
