It's past midnight and I have to be out of here at 4:33 in order to catch my train. At this point, sleep is pretty much out of the question. So, instead, I'm wasting time online. And... and... someone please remind me that never in a million years would I need this set of drawers. Or the doctor's instrument cabinet. No matter how awesome they'd be in my imaginary east-facing loft with the fireman's pole and floor-to-ceiling windows and rooftop access with a garden.

(Still pretty cool, though.)

Also... I'm going to be in Portland in about 14 hours, woo! (And yet I know I won't be able to relax and be properly happy about it until I've actually caught my bus and made it to my train and to the airport and onto my first flight and made my connection to my second flight and then landed in Portland. Then I will be doing dances outside the airport until I locate [livejournal.com profile] zolac_no_miko.)

Edit: Nope, the two-hour nap was definitely a good idea.

I wish I could SLEEP at NIGHT when a normal human being is SUPPOSED TO. Arghgrrblarghrrrrr. Freaking insomnia. (Freaking too many ideas keeping me up at night lately, and me with way to act on them. It's only when there's nothing I can do about my ideas that they ever come to me. By the time I can accomplish them, I never care anymore. It's a vicious cycle.)

I NEED TO BE AWAKE IN THE MORNING OTHERWISE I'LL DIE AND GET EVICTED AND NOT FINISH MY JOB APPLICATIONS. Frak frak frak. Why am I still awake? I swear I didn't drink that much tea. And it was green tea! There's hardly any caffeine in that anyway. Grrrr, body. You woke up at 11 today. That's not early, but you should have been tired at least by 3. And now it's 4:30. And where are we? In the kitchen in front of the computer at an ungodly hour when nothing of any potential merit can be accomplished (at least by me, during this particular ungodly hour tonight). Grrrr.
